Blue Princess

Some select few people have been visited in waking dreams by The Blue Princess. She seems to have some insight into future events, and seems to wish to guide them, though to what end is unknown. The Blue Princess sometimes appears to those who have seen her before and points them toward “Junctures of Fate”. Those marked by The Blue Princess are frequently drawn into hidden fights against corruption and vast plots involving arcane secrets.

Alignment: Non-Evil

Adventurers marked by The Blue Princess will often be expected to investigate or  intervene in events they’ve seen visions of.

Unique personal mark somewhere on the body, which radiates faint universal magic.

+1 choice of favored classes, and the ability to gain 2 different favored class bonuses at level up

1 luck reroll per session; +1 additional luck reroll per session at every 4th level.  

Arcane Attunement

The Mage’s guild has also mastered the process of empowering individuals. Those affiliated with the Mage’s guild can receive Arcane Attunements that unlock their abilities. Though most frequently used on guild mage’s themselves, the process is also commonly applied to guild associates and allies.

Must maintain Mage’s guild association

Spell like abilities: Starting at first level, arcanely attuned characters choose 1 0th spell as a spell-like ability, usable once per day. At 3rd level, and every three levels beyond, the character can choose an additional spell like ability, each time choosing a spell of a level no more than 1/3rd of their character level. Each spell-like ability is usable once per day.

Divine Sacrament

Most Faiths offer rites and sacraments appropriate to their deities.

Alignment must remain within one step of chosen deity

Domain abilities as a Cleric of ½ level.

Glaustan Technica Tonics

“Peak performance for pennies a day!”

The Glaustan Machine Concern has brought to market several Tonics and powdered medicines that enhance ability. Glaustan Tonics are popular among mercenaries and people who simply want performance with no questions asked.

In order to advance in level, characters using Glaustan Tonics must pay 200gp* the level that they are advancing to. This buys enough various medicines to last until their next level-up

Each morning, depending on how their tonics are mixed, Tonic users may gain a temporary +2 bonus to a stat of their choice. Users denied access to their tonics suffer a -2 penalty to all stats in addition to being sickened.

Infernal Pacts

There is a booming industry in Cheliax involving the creation of infernal pacts in exchange for power.

Alignment: Nongood

Infernal familiar: Familiar chosen from the standard animal list, fiendish template applied.

Other mysterious forces, ranging from fey magic even to secret vampire rituals, can also grant similar abilities, and little is known about how magical beasts and savage peoples gain power even though they frequently do.
